Another signature work-ready attribute of the Silverado is the proven Durabed that’s engineered with a roll-formed high-strength steel floor for superior durability. When it comes to interior comfort and innovation, no competitor can measure up to the Chevrolet Silverado. Cutting-edge tech features like its Chevrolet Infotainment 3 system help you stay in touch with your social circle. What the Critics Say
"We've driven the Chevrolet Silverado in many iterations and with several of its powertrains and have found it commendable overall. In general, Chevrolet's Silverado drives smaller than it is and has good ride quality considering this is a rugged, body-on-frame pickup truck. Handling is taut with little body roll. Moreover, everything works well and in harmony, from its brakes to its steering." — Kelley Blue Book
"The Silverado 1500 succeeds in what a full-size truck sets out to do: perform on the job. Along with strong powertrains, the Silverado benefits from exceptionally spacious bed options. Rear bumper corner cutouts make it easy to step into the bed for loading and unloading, and the six-function tailgate isn't just a gimmick." — MotorTrend
What’s New for 2025
Changes to the popular Chevrolet Silverado are quite minor for the 2025 model year. In terms of exterior color choices, Cypress Gray and Riptide Blue Metallic are two new options that shoppers can choose from for 2025. Work Truck models receive a new Universal Vehicle Module for use by public safety agencies. Aside from these small updates, the Silverado returns for 2025 almost entirely unchanged from last year’s model.
Chevrolet Silverado Features

Proven Performance
A true workhorse both on and off the job site, the Chevrolet Silverado has a robust engine lineup that’s designed to meet the needs of virtually every truck shopper. If you’re craving unparalleled efficiency to improve your bottom line, the standard 2.7L TurboMax engine generates 310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque along with exceptional fuel economy. How about a capable balance of low-end response and outstanding MPG? Look no further than the available Duramax 3.0L TurboDiesel I-6 engine and 10-speed transmission that delivers up to an EPA-estimated 29 MPG on the highway**. Drivers can also opt for an economical 5.3L V8. For the ultimate in performance, the range-topping 6.2L V8 cranks out an impressive 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque to help you conquer any obstacle standing in your way. When the tarmac turns to trails, no other pickup can compete with the off-road-focused Silverado ZR2 and its high-approach steel front bumper, off-road chassis and suspension calibrations, 33-inch off-road MT tires, and skid plate package.

Work-Ready Innovations
Clever engineering solutions and work-ready innovations help make the Chevrolet Silverado a favorite among those who need their truck to work as hard as they do. A great example is its available Multi-Flex tailgate featuring 6 individual positions to help improve loading, unloading, and accessing the bed. Its standard Durabed truck bed design features a roll-formed high-strength steel floor that’s stronger, lighter, and more durable than a conventional stamped steel truck bed. The large CornerStep rear bumper provides easy access to a massive 89.1 cubic feet of cargo volume on Long Bed, 71.7 cubic feet on Standard Bed, and 62.9 cubic feet on Short Bed. Optional LED cargo area and perimeter lighting make it simple to keep working or keep the party going long after the sun has set. Whether you’re putting in long hours finishing a project or making the most of your weekend plans, the Chevrolet Silverado has the innovative features you need to make the most of it.

Technology & Comfort
Offering an escape from the stress of your workday, the interior of the Chevrolet Silverado features an ergonomic layout and available comfort amenities to ease tension. Upscale available features like heated and ventilated leather-trimmed front seats, Bose premium 7-speaker sound system, and electronic gear shifter highlight the luxurious feel of High Country grades. Similarly, the optional 12.3-inch Diagonal Driver Information Center and 13.4-inch Diagonal Infotainment Touchscreen give you the freedom to personalize your favorite multimedia functions and offer quick access to important drive information. All Silverado models benefit from standard Chevy Safety Assist, a collection of groundbreaking driver-assistive safety features designed to keep you one step ahead of danger. Optional on Silverado High Country, Super Cruise is a hands-free driver assistance technology that controls speed and steering on more than 200,000 miles of compatible roads in the U.S. and Canada. It's also functional when towing, providing greater comfort and confidence for those long hauls.
