Hi, joining the Germain team in September 2021 I’m Dylan Arnold service manager for Germain of Sidney. My automotive career started in January 1998 and over the years I have obtained valuable training and information to assist me in my current role. C.S. Lewis said, “Experience is the most brutal of teachers, but you learn, my God, do you learn”. Over the years you learn as much about what not to do as you do about what you should do. I believe the most important thing to remember about automotive service is that our purpose is to provide service. I know this sounds obvious, but every action that you take should be to provide service to the customer. I was born in Texas but resided in many places around the United States. My favorite thing about where I’m from is the sense of individualism and self-pride. I attended high school in Nevada and California. My wife Jennifer was in the Air Force when we married and was stationed at Wright Patterson AFB. We loved the area and decided to stay when she separated from the Air Force. Jennifer and I have two wonderful daughters, Hailey, and Lillian. Away from work what I enjoy the most is spending time with my family. I also enjoy reading, listening to music, playing music, and visiting with friends. My superhero alter ego is Superman, because, why not? The most fun vacation we have had so far was hanging out for a week in Toronto. The city was beautiful, the people were friendly and there were a ton of things to do. I believe my hidden talents might even be hidden from myself. My favorite car model of all brands is the Dodge Grand Caravan. It has amazing versatility. It can be used to do anything from taking a load of guys to Nashville for a hockey game to hauling lumber to build kitchen cabinets. It is also dependable. It is the vehicle I trust to carry my most precious cargo, my family, to anywhere they want to go. I’m looking forward to meeting you and keeping you and your vehicle safely on the road.
